Welcome to Coastal Boutique Hotels. By using our website https://coastalboutiquehotels.co.za or booking accommodation with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. General

These Terms apply to all guests and visitors to Coastal Boutique Hotels (“the Hotel”).
By making a booking or checking in, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

2. Check-In / Check-Out

  • Check-in: 14:00

  • Check-out: 11:00

  • Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

3. Reservations & Payment

  • A reservation is confirmed only upon receipt of a valid credit card or full/partial payment.

  • All rates are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT unless otherwise stated.

  • The Hotel reserves the right to cancel any unconfirmed or fraudulent bookings.

4. Cancellation / No-Show Policy

  • Cancellations must be made within the timeframes indicated during booking.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged in full.

  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to the Hotel’s cancellation policy.

5. Guest Responsibilities

  • Guests are responsible for any loss, damage, or breakage caused to Hotel property during their stay.

  • The guest party must report any damage immediately to reception.

  • Guests are personally liable for all charges incurred during their stay.

  • If guests fail to check out in person, the Hotel is authorised to charge all outstanding amounts to the credit card presented at check-in.

  • Parents and guardians accept full responsibility for the actions and safety of children under their care.

6. Internet Usage

The Hotel’s Wi-Fi is unsecured and used at the guest’s own risk. Coastal Boutique Hotels will not be held liable for any loss, damage, or data breach arising from its use.

7. Behaviour & Conduct

The Hotel reserves the right to determine acceptable behaviour and noise levels. Guests causing disturbance, nuisance, or damage may be asked to vacate the property without refund.

8. CCTV & Security

Public areas of the Hotel are monitored by CCTV for security purposes. Guests consent to the use of such footage if required for legal or safety reasons.

9. Liability & Indemnity

Guests agree that, to the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Coastal Boutique Hotels, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any injury, death, loss, or damage to persons or property, arising from any cause whatsoever, including negligence.
Guests indemnify and hold harmless Coastal Boutique Hotels against all such claims.

10. Governing Law

All disputes and matters arising from these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
